I would hope that even in the USA, there is maybe enough people who don't fall under the same description, the same binary system of "predator or prey" to leave a chance for change.

But your analysis ins't far fetched at all, indeed.

Watching the USA from here in Switzerland, it may be even more difficult to try and understand this country that it is for Americans to begin to comprehend the rest of the world.

After all, what can you expect from a nation who began by wiping out the local native population and by eleveting the slavery to an industrial, intercontinental trade model, to then beneficiationg from a distorded economy based on free work force.

And later, say, for at least the entire twentieth century, the main obesssion was to dominate the rest of the world, by imposing their own rules, going to the extend of buying themselves a hyperdevelopped army forces to force everyone to comply... Going from imposing their will in diplomatic areas to invade and kill when it wasn't - more simply - to secretly kill some democratically elected leaders in different parts of the world. We could talk about the obligation they made to market the entire planetary production of oil in US Dollars or pushing full speed the agenda of the "globalisation" of everything - including their deranged way of leaving or worse, eating - to their own benefice, the endgame is always the same.

No wonder It took american producers and film makers to come up with the idea of the "Empire" in Star Wars, they are the mighty and dark empire on our planet as well as the Sith empire is on this far away and ancient galaxy....
